First Half of Real Estate Taxes Are Due May 15th

The Stevens County Auditor-Treasurer would like to remind all residents that your first half of real estate taxes are due on Thursday, May 15th. This applies to all residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. By law, penalty must be added to late payments. Tax payments can be mailed, but to avoid a penalty, payments are required to be postmarked no later than May 15th. Taxpayers can also go to our website www.co.stevens.mn.us and pay by credit card, debit card, or electronic check; extra fees will apply. Payments may also be dropped off in the courthouse on the second floor during regular business hours, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.  There is also a drop box located inside the front main entrance of the courthouse. Payments dropped off after midnight on May 15, 2025 will be considered late. Please call 320-208-6567 with any questions. Don’t wait until the last minute!
