Flight Cuts Hit Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport

(Learfield News/Bloomington, MN) — Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP), one of the busiest hubs in the Midwest, is facing flight disruptions.

In response to the ongoing government shutdown, the FAA ordered a ten-percent reduction in flights at 40 major airports nationwide.

Around 41 flights are expected to be cut today at MSP. The airport typically handles between 750 and 850 flights daily.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission, which oversees MSP, has confirmed that operations remain stable for now but warns that disruptions will increase as the cuts ramp up over the coming week.
