Former Holy Angels star up for HOF
(Canton, OH/Minnesota News Network) — The Pro Football Hall of Fame has revealed the semifinalist for the 2026 class of inductees. Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald of Minneapolis and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees highlight the group of players being named semifinalists in their first year of eligibility. Others include San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore and Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten. Hold overs from previous years include New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs. The list of 26 modern-era semifinalists will be reduced to a list 15 finalists next month.
