FORMER TIMBERWOLVES OWNER GLEN TAYLOR DONATES MILLIONS TO RURAL COMMUNITIES

Former Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor is donating $100-million in farmland and securities to his philanthropic initiative, the Taylor Family Farms Foundation.  Minnesota’s wealthiest resident says the foundation will use income from the assets to fund grants that benefit rural communities.  Last year, proceeds helped support rural fire departments and child care centers across  the state.  This latest donation follows a $172-million transfer to the foundation in 2024, underscoring Taylor’s ongoing commitment to strengthening Minnesota’s rural areas.
