Fosston Fire Fatality

FOSSTON –  Few details are available, but reports indicated one person is dead following a house fire early this morning in Fosston.    The Polk County Sheriff’s Office reports they receive a report of a house on fire at around 4:30pm.

Upon arrival they found the home was engulfed in flames. When firefighters arrived one person was still inside the house.

Other people inside the home were able to escape, however some did sustained injuries.

The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s office will investigate the cause.
