Four Catholic Parishes To Hold Mass in Chokio

Four Catholic Parishes in West Central Minnesota will hold a Mass and picnic Saturday in Chokio. The parishes of Assumption in Morris, Ave Maria in Wheaton, St. Anthony’s in Browns Valley, and St. Mary’s in Chokio will gather in St. Mary’s Church at 10:30 a.m. for Mass with Bishop Patrick Neary of the Diocese of St. Cloud. That will be followed by a free picnic of grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, ice cream and beverages. The community may attend.
