FOUR HURT IN BLUE EARTH COUNTY CRASH

The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a one-vehicle crash Saturday  evening that injured four people.  Authorities were called to the crash on Lime Valley Road at 6 pm and found that a Dodge Durango driven by 26-year-old Joshua Hoferman of Good Thunder had left the road and struck a power pole.   He and three passengers, 33-year-old Wilen Sumerlin of Mankato, 25-year-old Jourdan Demmers of Good Thunder and 38-year-old Skilene Olson of Mankato were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated.  All were taken to area hospitals with Olson listed in critical condition, Demmers and Sumerlin are listed in critical but stable condition and Hoferman was treated for non-life threatening injuries.  Le Sueur and Nicollet County Sheriff’s Offices, the state patrol, Mankato police and fire, Kasota Fire and Mayo Clinic Ambulance services all assisted at the scene.
