Four Nations Faceoff Final set

(Boston, MA) — The final pairing is set as Team U-S-A and Canada will meet again but this time for all the marbles in the finale for the Four Nations Face-Off. Team U-S-A was already guaranteed a spot with two straight wins but fell short on Monday night with a 2-1 loss to Sweden. The Swedes got 31 saves from Flyers goalie Sam Ersson in net and rallied from a 1-0 deficit with a pair of first period goals to capture the win. The Canadians had to win to advance and they got it done by jumping in front of Finland with four straight goals but then held on for the 5-3 victory. The U.S. and Canada met on Saturday night in Montreal and the Americans came away with a 2-1 win. The rematch is set for 7 P-M on Thursday night from T-D Garden in Boston.
