Frost blow lead
(Toronto, Ontario) — The Minnesota Frost built a 2-0 second period lead in Toronto last night, but could not hold and lost to the host Sceptres in overtime 3-2. Renata Fast scored the game-winner in O-T for Toronto with just three-seconds remaining in the extra session. Minnesota got a first period goal from Sophie Jaques before Brooke McQuigge added a breakaway second period tally to put the Frost up 2-0. Minnesota remains in second-place in the six-team P-W-H-L, trailing Montreal. Toronto is in third-place. The Frost will visit Ottawa tomorrow night for a 6 P-M game.
