Frost get win heading into break
(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Frost snapped a three-game losing streak with a 5-2 win over Toronto at the Xcel Energy Center yesterday. Minnesota forward Taylor Heise of Lake City scored the first and final goals of the game to lead the way. Britta Curl-Salemme, Sophie Jaques, and Liz Schepers scored the other Minnesota goals. The first two goals for Minnesota were scored in the game’s first two minutes. The Frost moved back into fourth in the standings in the six-team league. Minnesota will not play again until April 30th against New York. The P-W-H-L will take a break for the World Championships, which will played in Czechia.
