Frost lose in OT in Game 1

(Ottawa, Ontario/Minnesota News Network) — Emily Clark scored in overtime to lift the Charge past the Frost 2-1 in O-T in Game 1 of the Walter Cup Finals. Gwyneth Philip made 25 saves for Ottawa while Nicole Hensley stopped 1-7. The Charge lead the series 1-0 and are a perfect 3-0 on home ice in the playoffs. Klara Hymlarova scored Minnesota’s only goal early in the third period to force overtime. Game 2 of the best of five series is Thursday night at T-D Place with a 6 P-M face off.
