Frost take 2-1 lead in Playoff Series

(St. Paul, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Frost beat Toronto yesterday in St. Paul in the highest-scoring game in P-W-H-L history. The final was 7-5 and gave the Frost a 2-1 series lead in the P-W-H-L Semifinals. The best-of-five series continues on Wednesday night at the Xcel Energy Center at 6 P-M. Minnesota scored the games first three goals from Liz Schepers, Brooke McQuigge and Lee Stecklein. McQuigge added a second goal later in the game, while Michela Cava scored twice for the Frost in the third period. Taylor Heise (HY-zee) recorded three assists in the victory.
