Fundraisers for Le Sueur Co Shop With a Cop

You can win this cooler valued at more than $500.00!  It’s the Grand Prize in KCHK’s annual fundraising effort for the Shop With a Cop event in Le Sueur County.  2 fundraising parties will be held.  Friday, Dec. 12 at the Lakefront Bar and Grill in Lexington from 6 to 9pm.  Saturday, Dec. 13th at Geisenbrau Bier Co. in New Prague from 6 to 9pm.  Money is raised thru the sale of CD samplers and donations made to get into drawings for instant prizes each night, and of course the grand prize.  The Shop with a Cop program allows selected children the chance to have a very positive experience with law enforcement personnel.  Gifts, a winter coat, a meat bundle, and a Christmas Party are given to the children.  Le Sueur County Sheriff Brent Mason and his deputies along with officers from communities in Le Sueur County take part.  If you are unable to attend one of the events, you are welcome to drop your donation at the radio station.  Your donation made at the station will get you in the grand prize cooler drawing.  We never set a goal, however money amounts have risen each year.  The first year, 2014, our efforts raised around $600.00 and we were thrilled with that.  Last year, the amount garnered was nearly $4,500.00!  We thank you in advance for your kind generosity.  Please note, the Grand Prize Cooler once again this year was donated by Jeff Belzer’s and Ed Duban.  We hope to see you at the events!
