Weather has postponed a number of events on the local schedule.

Boy’s Basketball postponed:

Jackson County Central at St James, GFW at SESM,Cedar Mountain at Lester Prairie, Sibley East at Maple River, Madelia at Heron Lake/Oka/Fulda and Minnewaska at BOLD.

Boy’s Basketball finals:

Waseca came to New Ulm and defeated the Eagles 84 to 69 and Springfield traveled to Redwood Valley to defeat the Cardinals 68 to 62.

Girl’s Basketball postponed:

St Peter at Willmar, Jackson County Central at St James, Redwood Valley at Fairmont, Belle Plaine at Marshall, Lester Prairie at Cedar Mountain, Lesueur/Henderson at MVL, Sibley East at Maple River, Alden/Conger/GE at Nicollet, Cleveland at Martin County West, GHECML/Truman at Loyola, RTR at Red Rock Central, Westbrook/Walnut Grove at Murray County Central and Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey at SW Mn Christian.

Girl’s Basketball finals:

New Ulm picks up a 79 to 38 win over Waseca, Brooklyn Lewis scored 32 points, Cathedral traveled to Sleepy Eye and defeated the Indians 47 to 36. St Clair picks up a South Central win over LCWM 81 to 49.

Wrestling postponed:

The Sibley East Quadrangular is postponed, The Wabasso Girls invitational is also ppd.

Men’s Hockey:

Gustavus defeats UW/Stout 4 to 1.

Women’s Hockey:

Gustavus and St Mary’s played to a one all tie.
