GARAGE FIRE IN NEW ULM

The New Ulm Fire Department was called at 7:31 Sunday evening to a garage fire at 524 South Washington Street.  When crews arrived, the garage was fully involved.  Chief Paul Macho said crews had the fire under control in about 20 minutes and were on the scene for about an hour.  No injuries were reported but the garage and its contents were destroyed.  A cause is under investigation.  New Ulm Police Department assisted at the scene.
