George’s Ballroom is Down

George’s Ballroom in New Ulm is no more.

Crews have been working on tearing down the building for the past couple of weeks and Thursday, the building was completely torn down.

The sign was removed Tuesday and taken to Mankato to be refurbished.  It will then be part of the new building that will be apartments and retail space.

Coldwell Banker Commercial Fisher Group of Mankato is overseeing the redevelopment of the property site.
