Glacial Ridge Curling Club Opens at Uptown Willmar

After months of construction at a cost of about $600,000, the Glacial Ridge Curling Club has opened its facility in a renovated 14,000-square-foot mall space at Uptown Willmar.

The West Central Tribune reports events include weekly learn-to-curl sessions and league nights, and plans are in place for several bonspiels, or curling tournaments.

Glacial Ridge Curling Club started 21 years ago and formerly played at the Willmar Civic Center.
