Gopher Football Opening Season Tonight

(Minnesota News Network- Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Gophers kick off the 2025 college football season with a game against the Buffalo Bulls at Huntington Bank Stadium tonight. The Gophers went 8-5 a season ago and are looking to build on that. Minnesota is 2-0 all time against Buffalo, including 17-7 victory in 2017 in P-J Fleck’s first game ever as head coach for the Gophers. He says tonight is all about his team and how well it executes the game plan. Minnesota has a first-time starting quarterback tonight in Drake Lindsey . Tonight’s game kicks off at 7 P-M.
