Gopher Football sets 6 Game Times

(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Big Ten Conference released kickoff times for several football games in the 2025 season, including six of the 12 start times for the Golden Gophers. Minnesota will have two Friday night games and a Thursday night game this year. The season opener is set for Thursday, August 28th at home against Buffalo with a 7 P-M kickoff. The Gophers will host Nebraska on Friday, October 17th at 7 P-M at Huntington Bank Stadium. That Friday night coincides with the M-E-A weekend in Minnesota so the Gopher game will not conflict with any high school football games. The Gophers will play another Friday night game on November 14th at Oregon at 8 P-M. Other kickoff times that have been announced include Saturday, September 6th at home against Northwestern State at 11 A-M, Saturday, September 13th at California at 9:30 P-M, and Saturday, October 11th at home against Purdue at either 6 P-M or 6:30 P-M. The rest of the season’s start times will be announced at a later time.
