Gopher Golfer qualifies for NCAA Championships

(Auburn, AL) — Golden Gopher sophomore golfer Isabella McCauley of Inver Grove Heights fired a seven-under-par-65 in yesterday’s final round of the N-C-A-A Golf Regional in Auburn, Alabama, pushing her into a second-place finish and a spot in the N-C-A-A Championship Tournament next week. McCauley birdied the final hole to clinch the spot. The seven-under total is the best round ever played at the Auburn University Club in its current format for tourney play. The N-C-A-A Championship will begin on May 17th in Carlsbad, California.
