Gopher Men Hosting #7 Nebraska Tomorrow

(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The University of Minnesota men’s basketball team aims to avoid a fifth loss in a row when they host number-seven Nebraska at Williams Arena tomorrow. The Gophers are coming off an 82-74 overtime loss at Ohio State on Tuesday. Minnesota is 3-5 in Big Ten play and 10-9 overall this season. The Gophers have two overtime games, a regulation buzzer beater, and a road loss to a top 15 team during the four-game slide. The 19-0 Cornhuskers are one of just three remaining unbeaten teams in college basketball, sitting at 8-0 in the Big Ten. Minnesota leads the all-time series 57-25, including a 67-65 win last year in Lincoln. Tomorrow’s game tips off at 11 A-M.
