(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The third-rated University of Minnesota women’s hockey team skated past number-two Ohio State yesterday at Ridder Arena 6-3. The Golden Gopher victory secured a split of the two-game weekend series. Minnesota forwards Josefin Bouveng and Nelli Laitinen each had a goal and two assists in the win. Goaltender Hannah Clark stopped 27 shots for Minnesota, which improved to 7-1 overall and 3-1 in the W-C-H-A. The visiting Buckeyes dipped to 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the league.
