Gophers will go to Phoenix for Bowl game

(Undated/Minnesota News Network) — The Golden Gopher football team will wrap up the 2025 football season in Phoenix. The Gophers were selected to play in the Rate Bowl against New Mexico at Chase Field on December 26th . Minnesota went 5-4 in Big Ten play and finished the regular season with a 7-5 record. It’s the second time in five years that the Gophers will play in the Rate Bowl. The Lobos finished the season 9-3.
