Gophers Womens BB Coach gets extension

(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — Golden Gopher women’s basketball coach Dawn Plitzuweit has inked a new long-term contract extension with the University of Minnesota. Plitzuweit recently wrapped up her second year on the job by leading her team to the W-B-I-T championship. The new deal keeps Plitzuweit under contract at Minnesota through the end of the 2030-31 season. The new pact adds two years onto the original six-year deal she signed when she took the Gopher job in 2023. Plitzuweit has a 45-27 record at Minnesota.
