GOVERNOR WALZ RUNNING FOR UNPRECEDENTED THIRD TERM

Governor Walz is seeking an unprecedented third four-year term as the state’s governor.  Walz made his announcement this (Tuesday) morning touting raising graduation rates to the highest ever, working across party lines to balance the budget and protecting education.  But Walz says he isn’t done yet and that’s why he’s running for re-election.  He said he wants to make Minnesota a place where everyone has a chance to succeed in every corner of the state.  No other Democrats have announced plans to run for governor.  Several Republican candidates have entered the race including Maple Grove Representative Kristin Robbins, Scott Jensen, Kendal Qualls, Phillip Parrish and Brad Koehler.
