Hancock Hazardous Waste Pickup on 6/4

Stevens County Environmental Services will offer a chance to get rid of household hazardous wastes free of charge from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the City Garage in Hancock. Acceptable waste items include paint, stains, varnishes, aerosols, lawn and garden pesticides, and flammable products. Waste items not accepted include business waste, explosives, ammunition, asbestos, and fluorescent lights.
