HIGHWAY 22 PROJECT STARTS TODAY (FRIDAY)

Work starts today (Friday) on the Highway 22 project between St. Peter and Mankato.  Traffic will be detoured to Highways 14 and 169.  It’s going to be a two-year project that will see the reconstruction of the road, adding turning and passing lanes, constructing a roundabout at Hill Street in Kasota and reconstructing bridges.  Construction will go until the end of 2026 but the road will temporarily reopen during the winter.
