HIGHWAY 99 BRIDGE INSPECTION IN ST. PETER STARTS WEDNESDAY

The Minnesota River in St. Peter has fallen enough that inspection on the lower level of the Highway 99 bridge at St. Peter will start Wednesday.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane across the bridge with flagging operations.  The inspection is routine and will be done from 8:30 to 4 Wednesday and Thursday.   The upper portion of the bridge was inspected last week.
