Homan says 700 Federal Immigration Agents Leaving Minnesota

White House Border Czar Tom Homan is scaling back the number of federal immigration agents in Minnesota.

Homan says an unprecedented number of counties are allowing ICE to take custody of illegal aliens from their jails before they hit the streets and “as a result of the need for less law enforcement officers that do this work and a safer environment, I am announcing effective immediately we will draw down 700 people effective today, 700 law enforcement personnel.”

Homan says this move will leave about two thousand agents here.

He says a full drawdown is contingent on the end of threatening activities and hostile incidents against ICE agents.
