Homeland Security Agent Charged with Production of Child Sex Abuse Material
A Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent has been charged with production of child pornography.
According to acting U.S. Attorney Joseph H. Thompson, Special Agent Timothy Ryan Gregg, (51) of Eagan, attempted, coerced, and enticed a minor victim to take part in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing child pornography.
According to court documents, the father of the minor victim discovered multiple sexually explicit images and videos on the minor victim’s cell phone. The individual in the images and videos were later identified as Gregg, who is a with Homeland Security Investigations and a Task Force Officer with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Gregg made his initial appearance Wednesday in U.S. District Court before Magistrate Judge Dulce J. Foster. He was ordered to remain in custody pending further proceedings.
