Hutchinson Man Arrested/Charged After Attempting to Flee

A Hutchinson man was arrested and charged after attempting to flee on foot after a traffic stop last week.

On Monday, April 1, Hutchinson Police conducted a traffic stop on Glen Street SW and 2nd Avenue SW. Due to the nature of the infraction, the officer informed the driver to step out of the vehicle and place their hands behind their back. The driver fled from the officer on foot but was detained a short time later.

Nineteen-year-old Noah John Alderink was taken into custody and transported to the McLeod County Jail and has been charged with five misdemeanors; Driving After Revocation, Fleeing a Peace Officer By a Means Other Than a Motor Vehicle, Driver Must Carry Proof of Insurance, Fail to Transfer Motor Vehicle Title, and Obstruct Legal Process.
