ICE Wants to Deport Drunk Driver Who Killed 2 MN Teens in Wisconsin
(Learfield News/Madison, WI) — ICE wants to deport a Wisconsin driver charged with being drunk and causing a crash that killed two Minnesota teens.
Noelia Saray Martinez-Avila is charged in Dane County Circuit Court with two counts of homicide by use of a vehicle.
Martinez-Avila allegedly was driving drunk the wrong way on a Wisconsin interstate and cause a crash that killed 19-year-old Brady Heiling of Clara City and 18-year-old Hallie Helgeson of Montevideo.
Martinez-Avila’s criminal history in Wisconsin includes two convictions for drunken driving and three of driving without a license.
ICE lodged an arrest detainer on Sunday against Martinez-Avila, who is a Honduran national.
