Injury Reported, TRF Woman Cited in Two Vehicle Accident

A Thief River Falls woman was cited following a two vehicle accident in which a passenger had to be transported by ambulance. 

Police say Cassandra Peterson was cited after the 1998 Dodge Dakota she was driving pulled into the intersection from Conley Street South at 1st Street East and collided with a 2017 Chevrolet. Authorities say the Chevy then left the road and struck a tree. One of the passengers was “transported by ambulance.” No word on the extent of injuries. 

Peterson was cited for Failure to Stop. 

Officers responded just after 8am on Monday.
