It’ll be Philadelphia vs KC in the Super Bowl

(Philadelphia, PA) — The Philadelphia Eagles are headed back to the Super Bowl. The Eagles are going to the big game for the second time in three seasons after blowing out the Washington Commanders 55-23 in yesterday’s N-F-C Championship Game yesterday at Lincoln Financial Field. Jalen Hurts threw for 246 yards and a touchdown in the victory. Hurts, and star running back Saquon Barkley, also ran for three scores apiece. Barkley led all rushers with 118 yards on 15 carries as the Eagles ran for 229 yards as a team. A-J Brown caught six passes for 96 yards and a T-D. Jayden Daniels completed 29 of 48 for 255 yards, one touchdown and an interception for Washington. Zach Ertz led all players with 11 catches for 104 yards. Terry McLaurin hauled in three passes for 51 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles will be looking to win their second Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9th in New Orleans. Philly lost to the Chiefs 38-35 in the Super Bowl two years again in Phoenix. The Eagles also went to and won the Super Bowl in January of 2018, beating the New England Patriots in Minneapolis 41-33.

(Kansas City, MO) — The Kansas City Chiefs are A-F-C champions again. Kansas City punched its ticket to Super Bowl 59 with a thrilling 32-29 takedown of the Buffalo Bills in the A-F-C Championship at Arrowhead Stadium. Patrick Mahomes completed 18-of-26 pass attempts for 245 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed 11 times for 43 yards and two scores. Xavier Worthy finished with six catches for 85 yards and a touchdown while Kareem Hunt rushed for 64 yards and a T-D. The Chiefs are now heading back to the Super Bowl for the fifth time in the last six seasons. They will face the Philadelphia Eagles in a Super Bowl 57 rematch. Buffalo Q-B Josh Allen went 22-of-34 for 237 yards and two touchdowns in the losing effort. James Cook rushed for 85 yards and a pair of scores. The Bills have not made the Super Bowl since the 1993 season.
