It’ll be Seattle vs New England in the Super Bowl

(Seattle, WA/Minnesota News Network) — The Seattle Seahawks have punched their ticket to Super Bowl 60. Seattle knocked off the N-F-C West rival Los Angeles Rams 31-27 in the N-F-C Championship in Seattle. Former Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold put together a stellar performance, throwing for 346 yards and three touchdowns for the Seahawks. Jaxon Smith-Njigba came up with 10 receptions for 153 yards and a score. The Rams lost a pair of fumbles which proved to be the difference in the game. Los Angeles has not made the Super Bowl since winning it all in the 2021 season.

(Denver, CO/Minnesota News Network) — Super Bowl 60 will feature a familiar face. The New England Patriots outlasted the Broncos 10-7 in a snowy A-F-C Championship game from Denver to advance. Drake Maye scored the team’s lone touchdown on the ground after the defense recovered a key fumble. Christian Gonzalez picked-off Jarrett Stidham late to seal the win as New England won its first postseason game at Mile High in franchise history and claimed an NFL-best 12th Super Bowl appearance. The Patriots will play the Seahawks in a Super Bowl 49 rematch from Santa Clara on February 8th. Stidham committed two turnovers for Denver, which made its first conference title game since 2015.
