It’s Fire Prevention Week in MN

Fire Prevention Week sparks statewide push for wildfire education in Minnesota. Karen Harrison with the D-N-R says fall is a big time for wildfires, making it the perfect time for prevention education. Historically, some of the most devastating wildfires in Minnesota’s past have begun in September and October, such as the Great Hinckley Fire, which started on September 1st, 1894.
