JACKPOT JUNCTION ISSUES UPDATE

Technical problems have hit Jackpot Junction in Morton in the last week.  The Jackpot Facebook page says the issues have been plaguing the casino since March 27.  Their Facebook page says that, as of Thursday, all promotional drawings remain postponed.  Bingo sessions are on hold including the Bingo special scheduled for Saturday and the phone system is down.  The slot machines and kiosks are all down but table games are open and running.  The Full Deck is open for food and the Circle Bar is open as well.  A website called Comparitech claims in a post in a ransomware criminal group has claimed responsibility for the attack on Jackpot but the casino has not acknowledged the group or called the issues an attack in any updates but has mentioned in a statement Monday of “unauthorized access to certain systems.”
