JAKE’S PIZZA IN ST. PETER ANNOUNCES CLOSURE

The former Taco John’s building in St. Peter was torn down Monday after it closed in October.  The future of that property is unsure.  Next door is Jake’s Pizza which announced its closure on social media Tuesday.  Jake’s will remain open until January 18.  Mankato’s Jake’s Pizza will continue to be open.  SouthPoint Financial announced Tuesday morning that they had acquired the former Taco John’s property and a new facility is being planned.  Nothing was mentioned about the Jake’s Pizza location but it is believed that SouthPoint owns both properties and both properties have reportedly been acquired by the same group.
