John M. Berres, age 77 of Alberta, Minnesota, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Sanford Health in Fargo, North Dakota.

Visitation for John Berres will be held Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, MN.

Visitation will continue from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Morris Evangelical Free Church in Morris, MN.

Funeral services for John M. Berres will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Morris Evangelical Free Church in Morris, MN, with Pastor Hector Franco officiating.

Burial will be in Drywood Lutheran Cemetery, rural Correll, MN.

Survived by his wife: Kathy Berres of Alberta, MN; children: Michael (Hayley) Berres of Beaverton, Ohio, Elizabeth (Christopher) Hardesty of Eden Prairie, MN, and David (Sarah) Berres of Delano, MN; eight grandchildren; brother: Robert Jr (Judi) Berres of Phoenix, AZ; sisters: Mary (Skip0 Mills of Omaha, NE and Margaret (Tom) Asby of Spring Park, MN; in-laws: Deb Berres of Rosemount, MN, Barbara (Bob) Beck, Eldon (Sharon) Brustuen, Melody (Roger) Veenendaal, Kevin Brustuen, Emilie Brustuen and Keith (Sheila) Brustuen.

MEMORIALS ARE PREFERED TO THE MORRIS EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH.
