John C. Lenzmeier

John C. Lenzmeier, age 76, of Shakopee, MN, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

A time of gathering will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 4-7 pm, at Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation, 833 South Marschall Road, Shakopee. John will be laid to rest at a private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, in Minneapolis, MN. Memorials are preferred and will be distributed in his honor by the family.

John was a lifelong resident of Shakopee, MN, who married the love of his life Dianne. He and his son, along with friends, spent many years together hunting, fishing, and playing cards. John was a great behind the wheel teacher for each of his grandchildren teaching them to drive up at the lake with the side-by-side.

John’s quick wit and sass is how most of us knew him and will continue to bring us smiles and laughter as we share his memories.

John is survived by wife, Dianne (Swanson); son, David (Margaret) Lenzmeier; grandchildren, Tylor Robling, Megan (Omar Ortiz) Lenzmeier, John Lenzmeier, Hunter Lenzmeier; great grandchildren, Gabriella, Lily; other relatives and friends.

John is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Lorriane (Monnens) Lenzmeier and sister, Judy Lenzmeier.
