“John Wick 5” Is In The Works Plus An Animated Prequel

Keanu Reeves will return for “John Wick 5”.  There’s also an animated prequel film in the works, and a spin-off featuring the blind assassin Caine (who was played by Donnie Yen in “John Wick 4”).

The “John Wick” spin-off “Ballerina” hits theaters in June of this year, but that’s not the end of the franchise.   “John Wick 5” is happening even though the Keanu Reeves character supposedly died at the end of “John Wick 4”.  He’s also in “Ballerina” and he’ll be in the 5th installment.

In addition to Chapter 5, there will also be an animated prequel film which will serve as a spin-off movie featuring Caine, the blind assassin played by Donnie Yen in “Chapter 4“.
