Kaprizov Out/Wild In Toronto

Before heading to Toronto, Wild G-M Bill Guerin announced that forward Kirill Kaprizov will miss time as he undergoes surgery to repair his lower body injury. Kaprizov, who missed 12 games from December 27th through January 20th dealing with the same issue, returned to game action on January 23rd and registered two assists in three games while registering eight shots on goal. Kaprizov leads the Wild with 23 goals and 29 helpers for 52 points in 37 games. Guerin said the hope is to take care of the injury now and have him ready for the final playoff push some time after the break for the Four Nations tournament in February.
