First Ev. Lutheran Church (925 13th St E, Glencoe)  will hold its annual Craft, Quilt, Brunch and Bake Sale on Saturday, Dec 6th from 9 AM – 12:30 PM.  New this year is a Vintage Christmas Market.  Pastries, Fruit Cup, Juice, and Coffee will be available for $6.

Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Holiday Cookie Walk is Saturday, December 6 from 9:00 am-11:00 am (or until sold out).  Bring your own containers/lids–Choose your cookies/candies–Weigh and pay.  $9.50 per pound, Proceeds to mission projects.

The Cokato Finnish American Historical Society’s Pikkujoulu (little Christmas) celebration will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025. Candle lighting is at 3:30 pm at the Finnish Cemetery; a potluck supper, music program and fellowship is at 4:30 pm at the Cokato Township hall, 14987 30th Street SW.

Christ the King Lutheran Church in Hutchinson presents their Trees and Traditions on Saturday, Dec 6th from 9a-2p.  View decorated trees, quilts, table settings and more.  Shop the Gift Sale, Bake Shoppe, and Silent Auction.  Plus, enjoy live musical performances, Soup and Sandwich Lunch ($7 for Lunch), and Lefse and Krumkakka Demonstrations.

2BCONTINUED hosts a Suicide Loss Support Group, a supportive and safe environment for adult suicide loss survivors to share and connect with others who have also experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide. This group meets Monday, Dec 8th from 7:00-8:30 pm at 2BCONTINUED’s office – 305 7th St E, Glencoe, MN 55336. The group is led by Brooke Dingels, a trained loss support group facilitator. Brooke lost her father to suicide in 2019, and connecting with people who have experienced similar loss has been helpful to her, and she wants to offer that same hope to others.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Green Isle is hosting their Christmas Tree Stroll From December 12th-15th.  Friday hours are 4-8 pm, with music from the Singing Friends Chorus from 6:30-7:30 pm.  Saturday hours are 9a-7p, with music from Eric and Polly Rapp from 4-5 pm.  Sunday hours are 10a-1p, with Worship at 9 am.  And Monday hours are 5-6:30 pm, with the Community Connect Dinner served at 5:30 pm.  Cost is a Free Will Offering, going to the Sibley County Food Share Program.

The Bear Lake Sunshine Society will be selling greeting cards, jelly and cookies at St. Anastasia Church gym on Saturday, Dec. 13 from 9 – 1 pm.

Please join The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle  Lighting on Sunday, December 14th, at 7pm CST. The Compassionate Friends is a national, non-profit, self-help support organization for families who have experienced the death of a child, grandchild or sibling at any age, from any cause.

The Compassionate Friends of South Central MN chapter will host a Worldwide Candle Lighting and potluck at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 700 South Broadway St., New Ulm, MN. The potluck will begin at 6pm and candle lighting will begin promptly at 7 pm. You are encouraged to send a photo of your child/grandchild/sibling for the slideshow. Photo buttons and a memorial craft will be available before the 7pm candle lighting. Please bring a duplicate photo for photo buttons. You may also bring your own candle if you wish.

St. John’s Lutheran Church of Atwater has their Sunday School Christmas Program on Christmas Eve, December 24th. Pre-service music at 6:30 pm, The Program “Bethlehem’s Got News” at 7:00 pm
