The Crow River Classic AKC All Breed Dog Show is Thursday, Oct 3-Sunday, Oct 6 at the Mcleod County Fairgrounds in Hutchinson. Come and enjoy a family friendly event with hundreds of breeds of dogs competing for titles. Learn about the breeds and handlers, and have a chance to interact with them!

The Kimball Lions Club is hosting their Fall Fish Fry on Friday, October 4th from 4:30-7pm at the Willow Creek Lions Shelter. Cost is $15 for adults and $8 for kids 12 and under.

The Church of the Holy Family in Silver Lake is holding their annual Bazaar on Sunday, October 6th. Starting with a 10 am mass, Pork Chop and Bologna dinner from 11a-1:30p, and a cash raffle at 3 pm. Also stop by and take part in the Bingo, Country Store, Games and more! Cost for dinner is $16/adult, $8 Kids 3-10 years old.

Serving from 11a-1p with Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Dressing and more. All meals are $15. Sunday mass held at 10 am. St Anastasia Church has their annual rummage sale on Thursday Oct 17th and Friday, Oct 18th. Hours Thursday 8a-6p, and Friday 8a-4p. Friday is bag day, fill a bag for $3. Winter Coats and Jackets are $1.

A fundraiser for Kristen Riley will be held on Saturday, Oct 19th from 2-8 pm at Shaggy’s Bonfire and Grille of Litchfield. Enjoy kids games, activities and more from 2-4 pm. Then from 4-8 it’s a pulled pork sandwich meal, auction, raffle, and door prizes.
