Kent Blomquist

Kent Blomquist, age 68, of New Ulm passed away peacefully October 13 at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis of injuries and complications from a bicycling accident on October 8, 2025 in New Ulm. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2025 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – North Chapel in New Ulm. Father Gerald Meidl will officiate. A private family burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery, Soldier’s Rest, where the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard will provide full military honors. Visitation will be 4—7 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – North Chapel in New Ulm. Visitation will continue from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the North Chapel
