Knights Take It To The Wild
Jack Eichel put up his fifth career hat trick as the Golden Knights win their fourth straight with a 5 to 1 win over the Wild 5-1 on Tuesday night in St. Paul. Marcus Johansson scored the only goal for Minnesota when he sent a shot past Knights goaltender Adin Hill to open the third period. That cut the lead to 2-1 but Eichel scored twice in the final five minutes to help seal the win and hand the Wild a second straight loss. The Golden Knights sweep the season series and have taken five straight from the Wild overall. Marc Andre Fluery made 33 saves in his first start since March 9th. Wild Head Coach John Hynes on the final 10 game stretch and the intensity of this time of season.
The Wild are off until Thursday when they host the Capitals at 6:30 P-M from Xcel Energy Center.
