KRIS HUEBSCH NAMED FARMFEST WOMAN FARMER OF THE YEAR

A farmer by New York Mills was named the Farmfest Woman Farmer of the Year on the final day of Farmfest Thursday.  Kris Huebsch is a farmer, entrepreneur, wife and mother of two girls.  She is a 4-H leader, Farm Service Agency committee Chair in East Otter Tail County, a member of the Minnesota Fruit and Vegetable Growers association, Minnesota Farm Bureau, Perham Chamber of Commerce, Minnesota Grown, the American Quarter Horse Association and is also active with her church youth.  The other finalists were Haley Ekstrom of Odin, Kayla Cohrs of Glencoe, Holly Saeher of Pierz and Noreen Thomas of Dilworth.
