LAKE SEARCHED AFTER EMPTY CAR SEAT FOUND

The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched shortly after 8 pm Tuesday to Cottonwood Lake after someone found a child’s car seat near a sand bar on the north side of the lake.   A water search was conducted but no one was located.  The sheriff’s office says that it has not received any reports of missing persons or incidents believed to have occurred on Cottonwood Lake.  Windom Police and Fire Departments assisted at the scene.
