Larry Malecha

Larry Malecha, age 79 of rural Northfield, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, January 30, 2026.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; children, Sandy (Craig) Fossum of Northfield, Steve (Heather) of Northfield and Tom (Rhonda) of Lonsdale; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; siblings, Dorothy Pumper of Northfield, Adeline of Lonsdale, Sister Francette of Shakopee, Jane Shriver of Montgomery, Judy Voracek of Lakeville and Francis “Butch” (Barbara) of Northfield; and sisters-in-law, Rita of Lonsdale, Carol of Farmington and Adeline Smisek of Lonsdale.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM, Friday, February 6, 2026, at Annunciation Catholic Church, rural Northfield. Visitation will be from 3-7 PM, Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Bierman, Benson & Langehough Funeral Home in Northfield and will continue one hour prior to mass at the church. Interment will be in Annunciation Catholic Cemetery, Hazelwood, following mass, and a reception will follow interment.
