LATEST CLICK-IT-OR-TICKET NUMBERS RELEASED
Minnesota’s latest Click It-Or-Ticket campaign wrapped up June 1st and the Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety has released the numbers. Authorities say they issued just under 1600 seat belt citations and 85 child restraint citations. The campaign coincided with the state’s so-called “100 deadliest days” on the state’s roads. Last year 106 people who lost their lives were not buckled which is a big increase from 79 unbuckled deaths in 2023. 266 agencies participated.
